Grab a map because it's Park Week, baby!
We love free stuff.
There’s only one thing I love more than visiting national parks: free visits to national parks. This week marks the 15th annual Park Week, hosted by South African National Parks (SANParks), Total South African and FNB. Until 20 November day visitors will be granted free access to most of the country’s 21 national parks. Free entry, however, excludes Namaqua National Park, Boulders Penguin Colony and the Table Mountain Cableway in Table Mountain National Park.
Traditionally, the highly-anticipated Park Week is held in September, but it was postponed this year due to lockdown level 2 restrictions.
“This week is to encourage people, especially people from the local communities, to visit parks, free of charge,” read a statement from SANParks.

In celebration of this epic week, here are some of our favourite pics from national parks:
1. Marakele National Park
2. Tamkwa Karoo National Park
3. Agulhas National Park
4. Addo Elephant National Park
5. West Coast National Park
Park visitors are reminded that free access to the national park does not include tourist attractions or accommodation.
